The DāAngelo Department of Music offers performances through its Faculty Recital Series, the Roche Guest Artist Series, student Senior Recitals, and our large ensembles such as the Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Christopher Petit; the Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble, both conducted by Dr. Scott Meier; and the Mercyhurst Civic Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Gary Viebranz, featuring DāAngelo students and advanced community musicians. In addition, many chamber groupsāincluding brass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, voice, piano, and stringsāperform in our Small Ensembles Concert held each semester.

*Concert ticket prices are as follows: $8.50 for adults, and $5 for Mercyhurst students, employees, and 12 and under. Each ticket purchase is subject to a $1.50 service fee.Ā

'Tis the Season is a collaboration of the DāAngelo Jazz Ensemble, Dr. Scott Meier, Director, and the Mercyhurst Dance Department, Noelle Partusch, Chair.
āTis the season for trumpets, tutus, sugar plums, and saxophones! Let the Mercyhurst Dancers and Jazz Ensemble put you in the holiday spirit with a concert of music and movement. Swing into the holidays with the Jazz Ensembleās big band collection of seasonal tunes. The Mercyhurst Dancers will also present āThe Nutcracker Suite.ā Set to Tchaikovskyās timeless seasonal classic, this beloved ballet is a feast for the eyes. āTis the Season is perfect for the whole family.
